Hi! I'm the heart behind a home-based baking business that specializes in halal cookie boxes and baked goods. Each order is made with care to suit your needs for special events and occasions. My love for baking started back in middle school, and I've known ever since that I wanted to pursue a career in the food industry. Watching culinary competitions like MasterChef and Hell’s Kitchen only fueled that passion — I was inspired by the creativity, intensity, and precision the chefs brought to the kitchen. Now, I bring that same energy and thoughtfulness into every batch I bake, creating treats that are not only delicious but made with intention and heart.
I knew going into the food industry would be the right path for me to take, was my passion, and hence why I went to Humber College for Culinary Management. I learned not only cooking techniques but also baking as well which were very hands-on, were taught in lab classes where we would prepare food items, and learn the theory of these foods beforehand, before cooking/or baking these items. It not only taught us about skills in the kitchen but also the diligence, and professionalism it takes to become a chef in the food industry.
As someone who follows a halal diet, I often struggled to find desserts in stores that were made with halal-certified ingredients. The uncertainty of a product’s source and the prevalence of fraud in the halal food industry made it difficult to trust what I was purchasing. At Food with Foos, our mission is to provide delicious, halal-certified baked goods, ensuring our customers can enjoy their treats with confidence. We recognize the need for inclusivity in the industry and are committed to making high-quality, halal options accessible to all.
